When you wish to withdraw funds from your Bidvest Bank Investments account, you will ONLY be able to withdraw the 'withdrawable funds' amount, displayed to you in the red Bidvest Bank EasyEquities card on the homepage of your Bidvest Bank Account profile, as will be explained below.

This is due to the fact that when you sell an instrument / product on the platform, it takes 5 days for the proceeds of that sale to Settle. Until then those funds are called Unsettled Cash, and are not yet withdrawable. After the 5 business days elapse, the funds become Settled, and the value / quantum will then appear as withdrawable funds and can be transferred to your bank account.

How to transfer the funds from your Investment Account to your Bank Account:

1. Ensure you are logged into your Bidvest Bank Account and on the Home screen.

2. Before you attempt to transfer funds from your Investment account to your Bank account, you need to establish how much you are able to transfer. You can do this by consulting the 'Withdrawable Funds' amount (as shown by the arrow in the image below), in the red Bidvest Bank EasyEquities card.

3. Once you know how much you want to transfer, select the "Transfers" option, in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

4. On the Transfer screen, you can now use the little grey arrows to the left and right-hand side of each 'card' in the transfers window, to make the transfer. 

In this case, you want to select the red Bidvest Bank EasyEquities card in the 'From' window on the left, and the charcoal Bidvest Bank Grow Account card in the 'To' window, which will ensure a transfer from your Investment account into your bank account.

Please note: You can only transfer to your Bidvest Bank Grow account (Ie. cannot transfer to your Bidvest Bank Save account)

8. Enter a reference in the 'My reference' field

9. Enter the amount you wish to transfer in the 'Transfer amount' field

10. Click on the Confirm button in the bottom right of the window.
